Point
The ride quality improvement under low speed range at a low speed and on rough road surfaces and vehicle handling stability improvement were focused when developing this product.
For this product, the inverted type strut suspension is selected for both front and rear dampers. Compared to the stock suspension, the inverted struts enhance the rigidity remarkably and support the handling stability improvement.
The offset upper mount designed specifically for S660 enables to obtain the sufficient stroke amount even after lowering a vehicle so improvement of the ride quality and vehicle handling stability is implemented together.
The front damper is not using the stock-body length adjustable system to utilize the original performance.
The spring change is available; however, the spring rate must be carefully selected since the vehicle height changes considerably depending on the spring rate.
