A new low-compression specification G16E 1.75L short block is now available!
Featuring a closed-deck design, consistent with the popular HIGH-COMP version.

  • Pleased to announce the release a short block assembled with the BCD Piston Full Kit G16E 1.75L LOW-COMP STEP3.
  • The closed-deck design was adopted to minimize cylinder deformation and to accommodate high combustion pressure.
  • The flow of cooling water changes when the deck is closed, but we have optimized it by machining the water jackets.
  • Additional cooling water jacket have been added to Cylinder No.2, intended for use with the "Grommet Head Gasket SUPER COOLING Pro".
  • The deck surface has been machined to improve flatness.
  • Boring has been performed to improve the cylindricity of the cylinder. After processing, the main gallery is thoroughly cleaned to reduce the risk of trouble.
  • The pistons feature a “BCD (bridge construction)” design, achieving both lightweight performance and high rigidity.
  • A machined I-Beam STEP3 connecting rod is utilized. Achieving a 25% increase in strength compared to OEM and improving a higher torque capacity.
  • The crankshaft is machined from chrome steel. The inertia weight has been reduced by efficiently positioning the counterweight and reducing the weight of the pin.
  • The main bearings and connecting rod bearings are made of highly durable materials.

Note: Stock balance shafts cannot be used with this setup.
