ECU ReFlash Tool which is available from an entry user of the speed limiter cancellation to light tuning

 

 

【Product Outline】

• ECU reflashing via the on board diagnostics port (OBD II) is now possible.
• It is possible to save stock ECU data and three other custom data files.
• HKS produced data (Phase 1, Phase 2) is preinstalled. You can select stock turbo data or GTIII-FX data using the initialization tool. (SOFTWARE)
• Data can be edited by F-CON dealer with Power Writer.
• One Flash Editor works only per vehicle tuned.(impossible to use with Several vehicles.)

 

★When Power Editor and Flash Editor's PHASE2 map are used together, use EasyWriter to adjust the boost setting of Power Editor or bring the car to Power Writer shop to perform setting.

 

 

【Features】

●Customized data from the initialization tool (PC SOFTWARE) can be saved in Flash Editor after connecting to a PC.

• The initialization tool is provided on a USB memory stick.
• Vehicle data is preset; FLASH EDITOR can be used to reflash ECU by yourself.
• Custom data can be reverted to the stock data.
• Data is protected to prevent data from being leaked by other tools.
• Two different preset custom data sets are available.

※USB cable (USB[A] male USB[micro-B] male) is necessary for a PC and connection of Flash Editor.

• HKS authorized PowerWriter shops have the special software.
• Power Writer shops can provide precise settings to meet customer needs.
• By a protection function of Power Writer, it can prevent the data outflow to others dealers.

• Stock T/C PHASE1: Cancel the speed limit function(180km/h⇒300km/h)
• Stock T/C PHASE2: Cancel the speed limit function(180km/h⇒300km/h), Resetting a RPM limit (6000rpm⇒6300rpm), Increase the boost pressure (high octane spec.)
• GTIII-FX PHASE2: Cancel the speed limit function(180km/h⇒300km/h), Resetting a RPM limit (6000rpm⇒6300rpm), GTIII-FX data

※There are HKS products designated to use with. If the parts are not HKS products specified to use with, resetting must be done at HKS PowerWriter shop.

 

【Note】

• The ECU rewritten by the ZC33S flash editor will not be reprogrammed by the manufacturer. Contact HKS if reprogramming is required.
• Only ECU IDs saved on the FLASH EDITOR unit is writable. When the vehicle ECU ID is not confirmed by HKS, provide information through HKS website or Contact HKS authorized distributor.
• Only stock ECU data is compatible. The data customized by a reflash tool is not compatible.
• During data transmission, do not disconnect the connector, turn off the ignition power, A/C, hazard light, etc.
• Battery voltage shortage may cause communication error. In such case, recharge the battery.

※Setting by PowerWriter is required if any other parts (non-HKS exhaust/intake parts, sensor signal is modified, etc.) is installed.

• GTIII-FX PHASE2: Cancel the speed limit function(180km/h⇒300km/h), Rise a RPM limit (6000rpm⇒6300rpm), Increase the boost pressure (Calibrated using Japanese Premium Gasoline - RON96 and over) and original data for GTIII-FX turbine. Improves power and torque in all rpm range.
