  • Plug-and-play installation connects directly to the FK8's sensor harness using a dedicated coupler - no wiring changes needed.
  • Unlike a basic boost controller, Power Editor R uses vehicle speed, throttle position and RPM for gear-specific boost mapping that adapts to your driving.
  • Preloaded with optimized boost maps for instant performance gains right after installation.
  • Free Easy Writer software enables custom tuning to match your exact mods and driving conditions.

 

 

■Vehicle Specific Kit Features

  • Introducing the "Power Editor R" - a new boost upgrade kit for the FK8 Civic Type R .
  • It utilizes more sensor inputs than the standard Power Editor for seamless power delivery across the entire RPM range.
  • The kit includes two preset maps:
    • Map A: For stock airbox
    • Map B: For cold air intake
      Note: Must remove HKS AFR (if installed). HKS AFR is a product that comes with the cold air intake (not the stock AFR sensor).
  • Easily switch between maps using the included harness.
    Note: Switch sold separately.
  • The system can be easily returned to stock settings - simply use the included return connector to restore stock operation.
    Note: Vehicle will not start with HKS Cold air intake setup without proper fuel tuning.
  • Installation involves intercepting four sensor channels:
    ・ Ch1: Boost pressure ・ Ch2: Intake manifold pressure
    ・ Ch3: Air flow            ・ Ch4: Throttle position
    ・ Cam angle sensor (RPM signal)
    ・ Vehicle speed input (optional)
