The “Power Editor R” enables greater boost and power gains via a simple plug-and-play installation.
A model-specific kit now includes a version for the Suzuki Jimny (JB64W)

 

 

 

 

■Product Series Features

  • By connecting it inline with the vehicle’s sensor harness, the Power Editor R allows for easy boost increase. The included harness is specifically designed for the FL5, enabling a simple plug-and-play installation.
  • Unlike many boost-up products that only use the engine RPM signal for control, the Power Editor R can also use vehicle speed and throttle signals. This allows optimal correction for each gear and throttle opening.
  • The Power Editor R included in this kit comes preloaded with boost-up data. By connecting inline with the vehicle’s sensor harness, boost increases can be achieved easily.
  • Using the free Easy Writer for Power Editor R, users can create custom data to finely tune settings according to the individual characteristics of their vehicle.

 

 

■Vehicle Specific Features

  • A new boost-up solution for the JIMNY (JB64W): the Power Editor R vehicle-specific kit.
  • Compared to the standard “Power Editor,” this unit controls the engine using multiple sensor signals, enabling increased power and torque across the entire RPM range for a more enjoyable turbo performance.
  • The Power Editor R comes with preset boost-up data pre-installed in the control unit.
  • Even after installation (wiring completed), the vehicle can be returned to the stock state by using the included bypass connector.
  • This product is designed to be installed by intercepting the following vehicle sensor harnesses and connecting them to each channel of the Power Editor R.
    ch1: Boost pressure sensor
    ch2: Intake manifold pressure sensor
    ch4: Throttle sensor signal (input only)
    Engine speed signal: Cam angle sensor
  • By utilizing multiple signals for boost control, significant gains in power and torque are achieved throughout the entire range. Even with additional load from accessories such as roof racks or upsized tires, the vehicle maintains strong acceleration.
  • The Power Editor R alone provides a substantial improvement, but combining it with HKS exhaust systems, catalysts, and intake products enables even greater performance in the mid-to-high RPM range, without sacrificing low-end torque. The result is a Jimny that delivers responsive and stress-free drivability.

With the installation of the Power Editor R, power and torque are significantly increased across the entire RPM range.
