■Developer’s comments

  • The stock Z06 has a large gap between the tires and fenders, giving it a high-riding look that takes away from its sporty styling. Lowering the car restores its sleek appearance.
  • Ride quality is also harsh, as the factory magnetic dampers and high-rate springs don’t pair well. To address this, we conducted real-world testing—not just calculations—to improve both comfort and performance. While a bit of stiffness remains at the end of the stroke, it’s a clear upgrade from stock.
  • Designed for drivers who enjoy sporty handling and firm damping, this setup performs well from city streets to track days.
  • We recommend setting the damping 20 clicks back for a smooth yet controlled ride. For more stability at high speeds, 15 clicks back is ideal.

■Other Features

The HIPERMAX S has evolved with the introduction of a dual preload valve system for improved performance. In terms of quality, it now features laser-etched markings and comes standard with spring insulators. It also includes a long-term warranty of 3 years or 60,000 km.

 

Dual PVS
The preload valve system has been further refined with a new dual preload valve design. This reduces damping force at high piston speeds, effectively minimizing unnecessary movement for improved stability and control.

Pillow upper mounts specially designed for the Corvette
Specially designed aluminum pillow upper mounts are used on both the front and rear.
Repeated strength testing has ensured optimal rigidity while reducing weight.
