Product Features

  • Due to minor changes in the vehicle (DB22 to DB26), the vehicle now has to meet the stricter noise regulation of urban acceleration noise phase 2 (regulation value 71 dB). This is the only pre-certified exhaust for the DB26 that complies with the strict regulations. (As of 2023/11)
  • 110mm diameter super turbo tail with inner slit is adopted for the tail.
  • A silencer added to the middle pipe reduces the overall sound volume, while sound tuning of the low frequency and suppressing drone, which is unpleasant in the daily drive, has been done to achieve a gentle sound.
  • The sound volume is 87dB compared to the stock 81dB, with a moderate bass sound at low RPM and a mid-to-high range as the RPM increases, allowing the driver to enjoy a sporty and clear sound.
  • For DB22, there are two choices: this product and the existing product (31029-AT005). If you prefer a low volume and want a refined sound, choose this product. If you prefer a more wild sound at high RPM, please choose the existing product.

Since the stock ECU manages output by boost and torque, peak output will be suppressed to the stock value only by replacing the exhaust, however the improved exhaust efficiency of the exhaust makes it easier to extend the RPM from the peak output.

Combined with HKS Mastery ECU, the power output peak is increased by approximately 5.6 kW. Peak torque output has also been improved by approximately 13.5 Nm, and the maximum difference is a significant 18.5 Nm. By tuning together with the ECU as well as replacing the exhaust, it is possible to increase the power output compared to the stock exhaust.

 

 

About HKS muffler

*1: About center pipe
Diameter of center pipe is the portion that has the largest diameter. (Excluding silencer and tip.) It is the condition with stock suspension.

*2: Minimum road clearance between HKS muffler (Any parts included in the kit) and road surface. Therefore, it may be different from actual road clearance of the vehicle.
The data is basically the condition with stock suspension. However, please understand that some items have data with low down spring or ride height adjustable suspension kit.
