Adoption of a Full Dual Layout
Compared to the stock φ45 x 2 system, a φ60.5 x 2 dual layout is used. While supporting high output, the design minimizes any reduction ibn ground clearance, achieving an excellent balance between performance and everyday usability
High Exhaust Efficiency
By securing a cross-sectional area equivalent to φ85, exhaust resistance is reduced by approximately 40% compared to stock system. This setup delivers smooth performance from daily driving to sporty driving.
Sporty Sound Tuning
The silencer structure combined with a silent chamber suppresses unwanted cabin drone during steady cruising. The result is a sporty sound that blends the powerful character of a V6 engine with refined, high-quality acoustics.

- In the normal operating range of 3,700rpm to 5,500rpm, this system produces more torque than the stock muffler, achieving a maximum increase of 6.7Nm.
- The graph on the right shows the relationship between flow rate and pressure measured on a flow bench. Lower pressure at a given flow rate indicates reduced exhaust resistance
- By adopting Φ60.5×2 pipe diameter and a silencer without restrictions, exhaust efficiency (flow performance) is greatly improved. This is an essential component that serves as a foundation for step-up tuning.

- Sound tuning has been applied to allow you to fully enjoy the V6 engine tone. The deep, resonant low notes, befitting the presence of the Nissan Z, envelop the car and create a refined sporty sound.
- By incorporating a silent chamber, unpleasant low-frequency noise is controlled, reducing cabin drone in the normal operating range while still delivering a clear, sporty sound that lets you feel the difference from the stock muffler.
- While the stock muffler uses a Φ45 x 2 pipe layout, the Super Turbo Muffler adopts a Φ60.5 x 2 dual layout. This design maintains ground clearance typically lost with high-output mufflers while securing a pipe cross-sectional area equivalent to Φ85.

About HKS muffler
*1: About center pipe
Diameter of center pipe is the portion that has the largest diameter. (Excluding silencer and tip.) It is the condition with stock suspension.
*2: Minimum road clearance between HKS muffler (Any parts included in the kit) and road surface. Therefore, it may be different from actual road clearance of the vehicle.
The data is basically the condition with stock suspension. However, please understand that some items have data with low down spring or ride height adjustable suspension kit.
