電子制御式のインジェクションや点火装置が多くの車種に採用される1980年代以降、チューニングを進めるうえではそれがハードルとなり、新たな電子パーツを開発する必要性に迫られました。増加する空気量に合わせて燃料を増量する装置からスタートし、後にROMを搭載した「PFC F-CON」に進化。燃料増量だけでなく、減量もおこなえるようになりました。
現在では単体制御が可能なフルコン(F-CON V Pro)、ベース制御は純正を利用するサブコン(F-CON iS)、OBDポートより純正データを書き換えるツール(FLASH EDITOR)など様々なタイプがあり、チューニングの必須アイテムとなっています。

After the 1980s, when electronically controlled injection and ignition systems were equipped on many car models, these elements became difficulties in the tuning process, and it became necessary to develop new electronic parts. It started with a device that increased the amount of fuel to match the increased air volume, and later evolved into the "PFC F-CON" equipped with ROM. It is capable of reducing as well as increasing the amount of fuel.
Currently, there are various types of F-CONs, such as a full control unit (F-CON V Pro) that allows stand-alone control, a piggy-back computer (F-CON iS) that uses the factory base control, and a remapping tool (FLASH EDITOR) that rewrites stock data through the OBD port is now an essential item for tuning.
