1990年代前半には車高調整式サスペンションキットの開発が始まりますが、アメリカのレースシーンで学んだノウハウが注入され1996年に「4WAYレーシングダンパー」が発売されました。このモデルは完全なサーキット専用スペックでしたが、これをベースにストリート用車高調整式サスペンションキットとして「ハイパーダンパー」が1998年に発売となりました。
その後さまざまな装備の搭載や内部構造の見直しを経て現在のモデルは5世代目となりますが、バルブシムやバンプラバー、オイル、スプリングなど主要部品の大幅なブラッシュアップも図られ、ストリートでのしなやかな乗り味とスポーツ走行時における安定性やハンドリング性能を高次元で兼ね備えたモデルに仕上がっています。

In the early 1990s, we had started to develop ride-height adjustable coilover kit, and in 1996, the "4-way racing damper" was released, infused with the know-how learned from the racing activities in the U.S. Although that model was completely designed for race track use only, the "Hiper Damper" was released in 1998 as a ride height adjustable coilover kit for street use based on it.
The current model is the fifth generation, and has undergone a variety of improvements and internal structural revisions. Major components such as valve shims, bump rubbers, oil, and springs have been substantially brushed up, resulting in a model that combines a supple ride quality for street driving with outstanding stability and handling performance in sports driving.
