表面に黒鉛が析出し、鏡面仕上げでも潤滑性を確保できる材料を使用しています。

We use a material in which graphite precipitates on the surface, allowing excellent lubricity to be maintained even with a mirror-finished surface.

新品の入手が難しくなった「RB26DETT」エンジンのシリンダーブロックですが、中古品のオーバーホールを可能とするべく「シリンダーライナー」を新たに開発しております。再びφ86～φ87のボア径での使用が可能になります。
表面に黒鉛が析出した専用材料を使うことで、鏡面仕上げ加工を行っても焼付防止ができフリクションを低減できます。
冷却水とエンジンオイルが混ざることを防止するため、Ｏリングを取り付けました。
高出力・高回転を使用するドラッグレース車両を使った過酷な評価試験をクリアしております。

We are developing a newly designed cylinder liners to enable the overhaul and reuse of RB26DETT cylinder blocks, which have become increasingly difficult to obtain. With these liners, bore sizes of φ86 to φ87 can once again be used.
By employing a specially formulated material that forms graphite precipitates on the surface, the liner maintains excellent anti-seizure performance and reduced friction even after mirror-finish machining.
To prevent coolant and engine oil from mixing, O-rings have been incorporated into the design.
These liners have successfully passed harsh durability tests using drag racing vehicles that operate under high-output and high-RPM conditions.

・DECK CRACK REPAIR COLLAR

「RB26DETT」エンジンではデッキ面のウォータージャケットとヘッドボルト用穴間にクラックが発生し、進行すると両方につながることがあります。その場合一部のヘッドボルト用穴にはオイルが通っているため、水とオイルが混ざるトラブルが発生することがあります。
上記の「シリンダーライナー」はデッキ面のクラックがある場合は使用できないため、HKSではこのクラックを補修可能とする「デッキクラックリペアカラー」の開発を進めています。
カラーの外周に液体ガスケットを塗布して挿入するだけで、穴の内径面の隙間を塞ぎます。デッキ面のクラックには、ガスケットを取り付ける時にクラック部に液体ガスケットを塗布して隙間を塞ぎます。
全ての穴となる12か所分をセットとしました。すでに発生しているクラックへの対処だけでなく、今後の予防も可能です。

In the RB26DETT engine, cracks can develop between the deck-side water jacket and the head-bolt holes. As these cracks progress, they may connect the two passages. Since some of the head-bolt holes carry engine oil, this can lead to coolant–oil cross-contamination.
"Cylinder liner" cannot be used when deck-surface cracks are present, HKS is now developing a Deck Crack Repair Collar that enables the restoration of blocks exhibiting this issue.
The repair collar seals the clearance along the inner diameter of the head-bolt hole simply by applying liquid gasket to the outer surface of the collar before insertion. For deck-surface cracks, liquid gasket is applied directly to the cracked area during installation to fill and seal the gap.
The kit includes all twelve collars—one for every head-bolt hole—allowing not only repair of existing cracks but also preventative reinforcement against future cracking.
