We are pleased to announce the release of a newly developed “Reinforced Timing Belt” for the 312A3 engine, designed for the ABARTH 595/695.
It has been specially manufactured to Japanese quality standards, ensuring reliable use even in overseas vehicles.

Features

  • We analyzed the structure of the stock belt, cam pulley, and crank pulley, and developed an HKS-exclusive design, optimized to match the engine specifications.
  • To meet Japanese quality standards, new molds and tooling were developed, and the belt was manufactured as a completely original, newly designed replacement.
  • Compared to the stock belt, heat resistance, tooth jump resistance, tooth wear life, and cut resistance are each improved by approximately 1.5 times.
  • The back side features a black base with the HKS logo, product name, and part number printed on it, featuring a sleek, tactical finish (not purple).
  • Optimization of the belt design ensures stable meshing/engagement.
  • The stock belt may exhibit poor meshing even when new, but the HKS product features optimized engagement, allowing smooth initial adjustment of the tensioner during installation.

Caution

As this is a reinforced belt, please observe the following precautions.

  • Due to the reinforced high-tensile materials, a slight increase in operating resonance is normal and does not affect performance.
  • Please refer to the factory service manual, use the specified special service tools (SST) for installation, and ensure that regular maintenance is performed.
