Repairs cracks that occur on the cylinder block deck surface, preventing issues where coolant and oil mix.

 

 

 

 

■Features

  • In the RB26DETT engine, cracks can develop between the deck-side water jacket and the head-bolt holes. As these cracks progress, they may connect the two passages. Since some of the head-bolt holes carry engine oil, this can lead to coolant–oil cross-contamination.
  • The repair collar seals the clearance along the inner diameter of the head-bolt hole simply by applying liquid gasket to the outer surface of the collar before insertion. 
  • For deck-surface cracks, liquid gasket is applied directly to the cracked area during installation to fill and seal the gap.
