This cylinder liner enables the reuse and overhaul of used cylinder blocks,
addressing the difficulty of sourcing new cylinder blocks.

Cylinder Liner for RB26

• By installing the HKS Cylinder Liner, the engine can once again be used with a bore diameter of φ86–87.
• O-rings are incorporated to prevent coolant and engine oil from mixing.
• A specially formulated material with graphite precipitation on the surface is used, allowing a mirror finish without seizure and reducing friction.
• The mirror finish (target surface roughness: Ra 0.05) also improves engine response.
• It has successfully passed rigorous evaluation tests using high-output, high-revving drag race vehicles.

Heat-resistant fluororubber O-rings are used for the cylinder liners to prevent coolant and engine oil from mixing.
This design ensures stable performance and reliability over the long term.

We use a material in which graphite precipitates on the surface,
allowing excellent lubricity to be maintained even with a mirror-finished surface.

The cylinder features a mirror-finished bore that reduces friction loss,
resulting in improved engine response.
