  • The front suspension offers three height settings, while the rear features screw-type height adjustment.

■Developer Comments

  • The FL5 Civic Type R comes standard with an electronically controlled suspension, but its stock ride height is high, which has been a source of dissatisfaction for owners.
  • This product allows you to lower the ride height just enough to achieve a stylish appearance while retaining the stock electronically controlled suspension.
  • After repeated testing, we determined that by not drastically increasing the spring rate from the stock setting and intentionally making full use of the stock bump stops, we could maintain ride comfort while minimizing significant changes in vehicle posture.
  • The front features ball-joint upper control arms, which improve steering response and allow you to enjoy a sporty driving experience. It also includes camber adjustment, giving you greater freedom in choosing wheel designs.
  • For the front, you can choose from three ride height settings using the included spacers. The rear features a screw-type adjustment mechanism, allowing you to set the ride height to any desired position.

■KEY POINT

The front is equipped withcamber-adjustable ball joint upper mounts.

In addition to improving steering response, this setup accommodates requests such as “I want to lower the car while still fitting wider tires.” It also expands your options for tire sizes and wheel designs.

Factory mode switching is supported; ride height is adjustable at both the front and rear.

Since the factory shock absorbers are used, the mode switching function remains available. Additionally, the front uses a ride height adjustment method that combines two spacers, rather than a standard height adjuster. This allows for three different ride height settings while maintaining sufficient suspension travel.

Ride Height During Testing: 19 mm Lower Than Stock

Place the body between the two spacers to install it.

When raising the ride height: 13 mm lower than stock

Install the two spacers between the body and the upper mount.

When lowered: 25 mm lower than stock

Attach only one spacer to the top of the body.
