Short block that includes the VR38 4.3L Capacity Upgrade kit

Please note that the allowable torque may vary depending on the specifications of a vehicle, road surface conditions, driving conditions, travel distances, and so on when using the product on the actual vehicle.

  • Employing the HKS original main stud bolt with upsized thread.
  • The process for upsizing the thread of the block.
  • Line boring processing was performed to ensure the roundness of the bearing journal while maintaining the increased axial force.
  • The most appropriate main bearing and connecting rod bearing are used after many tests.
  • Reduce torsion vibrations by using the provided crank damper developed only for VR43 engines. (Accessory part)

It improves the driving comfort on the street by significantly increasing the low-speed torque by assuming the street use.

  • Billet piston using A2618 material with high high-temperature strength.

  • Connecting rod bearing superior to the load capacity to improve the durability at high torque.

  • The billet crankshaft reduces torsional vibrations, weight-saving, and high-response performance using the high-efficient counterweight.

  • Increasing the axial force by using the main stud bolt with an increased size thread.
    It also ensures the roundness of the bearing journal by line boring.
