Dimension Y begins with the FA24 upgraded to a 2.5‑liter high‑compression short block, sealed by a grommet‑type head gasket and breathing through an HKS Super Power Flow intake. The compact GTIII‑RS turbocharger, in a bespoke bolt‑on kit, delivers eager response and a generous mid‑range, building toward roughly 400 ps without sacrificing the GR86’s naturally playful character. Mastery ECU Phase3 calibration and EVC7‑MR boost control harmonise fuelling, ignition and boost, supported by a 255 L/h high‑flow pump and a dedicated fuel upgrade kit.

Thermal stability is assured by an HKS‑spec intercooler, S‑Type oil cooler and auxiliary sub‑radiator, allowing the car to repeat hard laps with composure. Power is channelled through a robust RZ34 six‑speed transmission, LA Clutch Twin (THE HKS spec) and an HKS‑tuned mechanical differential, giving clean, predictable traction on corner exit.

Chassis tuning centres on HIPERMAX R dampers in THE HKS specification, a carbon brace and structural trunk reinforcement with an integrated rear strut bar. Square‑set 295‑section Yokohama ADVAN A050 tyres on 18×11J ADVAN Racing GT BEYOND wheels provide serious grip, reined in by ENDLESS six‑pot front and S4R rear brakes. HKS BODYKIT TYPE‑R with exclusive dry‑carbon front diffuser and large GT wing refines aero balance for high‑speed stability. Inside, BRIDE Stradia III reclining seats, HKS harnesses, a NARDI Sports wheel and bespoke interior create a cockpit ready for both daily use and dedicated track work. This is the GR86 brought to its ideal turbocharged balance—the essence of Dimension Y.
